| Automotive Air Conditioning | To acquire, store or dispose of refrigerant relating to any work on air conditioning equipment fitted to the cabin of a motor vehicle. |
| Aviation | To acquire, store or dispose of refrigerant relating to the aviation sector. |
| Department of Defence | Applicable to the Department of Defence only. |
| Domestic RAC | To acquire, store or dispose of refrigerant relating to any work on domestic refrigeration or air conditioning equipment and/or commercial stand-alone refrigeration equipment. |
| Manufacturer | Applicable to manufacturers of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment only. |
| Marine | To acquire, store or dispose of refrigerant relating to the marine sector whilst at sea. |
| Refrigerant Wholesaler | Applicable to refrigerant wholesalers only. |
| Restricted Automotive Parts Recycler | To store and dispose of refrigerant recovered from end-of-life or damaged motor vehicle equipment prior to recycling or destruction. |
| Restricted Metal Recycler | To store and dispose of refrigerant recovered from end-of-life or damaged equipment prior to recycling or destruction at a metal recycling facility. |
| Restricted Refrigerant Recoverer | To store and dispose of refrigerant recovered from end-of-life or damaged equipment prior to recycling or destruction. |
| Restricted Split Systems A/C Installation - No Purchase | To store and dispose of refrigerant recovered from decommissioned single-head split system air conditioners of less than 18 kW capacity and/or 2-part hot water and swimming pool heat pumps of less than 18 kW capacity. Does not allow purchase of refrigerant. |
| Restricted Waste Management | To store and dispose of refrigerant recovered from end-of-life or damaged equipment prior to recycling or destruction at a waste management facility. |
| Split Systems A/C Installation | To acquire, store or dispose of refrigerant relating to the installation or decommissioning of single-head split system air conditioners of less than 18 kW capacity and/or 2-part hot water and swimming pool heat pumps of less than 18 kW capacity. |
| Stationary RAC | To acquire, store or dispose of refrigerant relating to any work in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, other than the automotive industry. |
| Transport Refrigeration | To acquire, store or dispose of refrigerant relating to the transport refrigeration sector. |
